As we deal with the doctrine of Christ, we need precision lest we inadvertently fall into heresy. We need a skilled master of the trade to come with a scalpel, to avoid heresies that lurk in imprecise terms and catchphrases, and to explain simply, clearly, and effectively doctrines that have baffled many but that stand at the crux of orthodox Christianity. Curt Daniel is one such theologian. By clarifying the biblical doctrine of Christ, he demolishes heresies, both ancient and modern (remember that modern heresies are usually nothing more than recycled heresies from ancient times). DR. CURT DANIEL  has served as pastor of Faith Bible Church in Springfield, Illinois since 1995. He received his MDiv from Fuller Theological Seminary and his PhD from The University of Edinburgh. He is a prolific author whose works include Basic Christian Doctrines, 100 Proofs that Jesus is God, and The History and Theology of Calvinism. He has also contributed numerous journal articles and chapters in edited volumes. Dr. Daniel is widely regarded to be one of the world's foremost theologians on the subject of Calvinism. He is happily married to Susan Heck of With the Master ministry.
